Narrative written by Leigh Osbourne:
The player is invited to help the Lion Queen find her missing crown so that she can pass on to Heaven. First the 'mutated' Lion Queen asks the player to help her find her missing (possibly stolen crown). The Lion Queen was a real life historic figure in Chatham that was famously killed by one of her lions. Based on the true story of a Victorian Lion Tamer 'Ellen Blight'. The Lion Queen will be a troubled character, a ghost in limbo between heaven and earth. The half human, half cat woman is desperate for justice and the freedom to rest in peace. The mystery behind her death and her missing crown need to be solved before she can finally rest in peace. The crown was an important part of her act, and worked as a kind of 'good luck charm' that seemed to hold the hypnotic power over the big cats she tamed. Without it she had no protection, and before her last fatal performance the crown went missing from her dressing room.
The other characters (to be decided) will help you or hinder you in the quest to solve the murder. The idea that the tale is left on a cliff hanger is something that would leave the player to make up their own mind, which is something both ourselves and the commissioner seem to enjoy.

Overall I have no role in the narrative, but having it posted here for reference will be useful to be able to scroll back too and read over again.
